A little break before clocking out

You can rest here for a bit.

I Wanna Go Home is an independently run site that started in Korea. Its tools, small games and pixel stories are made for the familiar feeling of waiting to leave work.

“Ugh, I wanna go home.” Different countries, same feeling. This is a little place to take a breath while the clock catches up with your mind.

Watch the clock, gently

Set your finishing time for a countdown to home. The detailed timer also calculates working hours excluding breaks and handles overnight shifts. It uses your browser’s local time.

Doing nothing counts as a break

Breathe with the circle. Turn on the rain only when you want it. Pop bubbles with a tap or a swipe. No account needed for any of that.

You don’t have to finish today

Take Sudoku one square at a time. Or run 1,000 metres from the office to home in Homebound Run. A little play, at your own pace.

Someone else wants to go home too

Scroll through a pixel coworker’s day: the alarm, the packed train, the sleepy afternoon. Some of it might feel very familiar.

Meet the people behind the feeling

This place started in Korea. Community posts, articles, quizzes, and the daily routine feature are currently in Korean. The English and Japanese home pages and break tools work directly in your chosen language.

At your own pace

The break tools work without an account. Your finishing time and game bests stay in this browser. Changing language does not sign you in or publish anything.

Good to know before you start

Which languages are available?

The home page, clock-out timer, breathing page, bubble wrap, Sudoku, Homebound Run, pixel story and these guides are available in English and Japanese. Community posts, articles and some other tools are currently in Korean.

Who publishes the content?

The site operator provides the games and tools and writes the Korean reading content. The games and leisure quizzes are not professional assessments.

How is my first language selected?

The home entry can use a country hint from the hosting service or proxy. It does not ask for precise location or send your IP address to a geolocation service. A Seoul or Tokyo device time zone may be used as an approximate fallback. A language you choose is remembered in a browser cookie for up to one year.

Does the site contain ads?

Advertising code may be present to support the site. Availability and display can vary.
